Terms of Use

The sway classifieds website ("sway", "we") is operated by sway classifieds of Swainsboro, Georgia. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use sway. We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use sway means you accept it.

Anyone may browse sway. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, post an ad, or send a message to a seller, and you must be 18 or older to view or post in Personals. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything posted from it.

You are responsible for your ads. They must be honest, accurate, and about items, housing, jobs, services, or events you have the right to offer. You keep ownership of what you post, and you give sway permission to display, store, and share it (for example, in search results and link previews) while your ad is on the site.

sway is a place for people to find each other. We are not a party to any sale or agreement between users, we don't inspect items, and we don't guarantee any ad, user, item, or transaction.

These are not allowed anywhere on sway:

• illegal goods or services, stolen property, counterfeit goods, or recalled items
• prescription drugs, controlled substances, alcohol, or tobacco and vaping products
• weapons, ammunition, or explosives (hunting and outdoor gear that isn't a weapon or ammunition is fine)
• adult services, escort ads, or any offer of sex or sexual services in exchange for money or anything of value, in Personals or anywhere else
• any content involving minors in Personals, which is for adults 18 and older only
• harassment, threats, hate, or discrimination, including housing or job ads that discriminate in ways the law forbids
• scams, spam, duplicate ads, or misleading prices
• other people's personal information, or photos you don't have the right to use

Posting an ad costs a small fee for a set listing period. The fee and the period are shown before you pay, and payment is handled by our payment processor, Stripe. sway never sees or stores your card details. You can renew an ad near or after its expiration. Discount codes, when offered, may publish an ad free; renewals are always paid.

The fee pays for the listing period and is generally non-refundable once your ad is published. If your ad never went live, or a technical problem on sway's side affected it, contact us promptly after paying and we will refund you.

If a payment is refunded or disputed, the ad is taken down. Ads removed for breaking these terms are not refunded.

We may remove any ad, or suspend any account, that breaks these terms or that we believe is harmful, fraudulent, or unlawful. Expired ads come down automatically. Some listings are samples posted by sway to show how the site works. You can take your own ad down at any time from My Ads.

sway is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the site will always be available or free of errors.

To the fullest extent the law allows, sway is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, from any ad, or from dealings between users. If sway is found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid sway for the ad involved.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.
